One Year In — What Comes Next for TruthWire

What started as a small voice has become something bigger — and now I’m ready to take the next step.

Dear Partiots,

Every week, I receive messages like:
"You are so valued."
"We appreciate you so much."
"Thank you for being a voice for the truth."

Those words mean more than I can express. And as I come up on the one-year anniversary of launching TruthWire, I’ve been reflecting on what this platform has become — and where it could go next.

Here’s what I know:
There are other conservative outlets in Tennessee.
But no one is saying the things I say — and certainly not the way I say them.

TruthWire isn’t driven by donor pressure, party loyalty, or PR spin. It’s written with conviction, clarity, and transparency — with my name and face attached. That’s how truth should be told. But it also means I live with a target on my back from the very establishment I write about.

I’ll be honest — I’m loath to ask for donations. I’ve always wanted support to come naturally, because people see value in what I do. I’m not prone to asking for a buck every time you click on my website. That’s not how I operate.

But the reality is: what I do does depend on reader support. And unlike all of my competitors, I didn't have 10's of thousands in seed money, or a large bank loan to get things started.

It came from necessity and determination — after being abruptly pushed aside for daring to try and make space for my own voice, my own perspective… and yours.

Right now, I work a day job like many of you — not because TruthWire isn’t worth my time, but because it doesn’t yet pay the bills. I pour my early mornings, late nights, and most weekends into this platform. But the need has grown. And to grow with it, I need a bridge.

👉 If just 200 of you gave $10/month — or 100 of you gave $20/month — I could leave my day job and give TruthWire my full attention.

It’s true what they say: many hands make light work. If enough of us pitch in a little, it could mean a lot — not just for me, but for the mission we share. That would free me up to cover stories in real time, dig deeper into investigations, take the meetings needed to turn TruthWire into a fully self-sustaining publication — and most importantly, keep telling the truth without fear or favor.

And that couldn’t come at a more critical time.

We are heading into a pivotal election year in Tennessee.
The governor’s race is on the horizon, and both federal and state-level races will shape the future of our state. But perhaps even more importantly — and more quietly — the county and city-level races happening across Tennessee will have the most immediate impact on our daily lives.

These local races shape the policies that govern our schools, our law enforcement, our communities — and right now, we are watching the establishment not just ignore the encroaching progressive left, but in some cases, actively coordinate with it to hold onto power.

That’s where TruthWire comes in — to expose, to explain, and to equip Tennesseans with the truth about what’s really happening, and who’s really behind it.

To be very clear: I welcome everyone to subscribe for free. That helps too — every subscriber makes a difference as I take the next steps toward turning TruthWire into a full-fledged publication. But if you believe in what I’m doing and want to help lay that foundation, this is your moment to step in and help build the bridge.

My ultimate goal is to be self sufficient, with donations being something that is the cherry on top of the cake. The cake consisting nearly entirely of sponsorships, advertising and even a swag store (THAT is coming very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!)

To those of you who already give monthly — thank you. Your support means more than you know. You’ve helped me get this far, and I’m deeply grateful.

Let’s make sure Tennessee voters are informed. Let’s call out the collaboration between the political elite and the progressive agenda. And let’s remind them: truth still matters — and it’s not going anywhere.

With gratitude and grit,
