No More Middle Class?

The federal government is trying to destroy the middle class through taxes and inflation. The federal government is in charge of the income tax rate, which is the tax that is taken out of your paycheck. This is a problem for people who are in the middle class because when taxes are withdrawn, money is taken from their paycheck, leaving them without enough money to pay for their basic needs.
Inflation is when the government prints too much money, making it so that the US dollar is not worth very much. This makes it so that everything you need to buy is more expensive. To illustrate what inflation is, we can talk about an example. At a carnival, it cost two tickets to buy cotton candy last year. This year, it cost three tickets which would be an inflation rate of 50%.
Why are taxes and inflation destroying the middle class? In 2022, inflation went up by 8%. In 2023, it went up by 4.1%. While the value of the dollar is going down, the price of basic needs is going up, and people’s paychecks are not. People in the middle class might make a good amount of money, but that money doesn’t go far enough. They have to choose between filling their car with gas, or food for your family. With taxes, this doesn’t help either. We not only have to deal with inflation, but also taxes coming out of our checks. So, while too much money is being taken out of your checks, not enough is going in. This means that eventually, there won’t be a middle class. There will be the poor, and the rich. Most people will live without enough money, and some people will have more than enough.
Why would the federal government want to destroy the middle class? I believe that the government wants everyone to lean on and trust them. People who used to be in middle class would not like the experience of being poor and wouldn’t have enough, so they would lean on the government for help and think that the government would help them with their needs. This would give the government more power (like the government doesn’t already have enough power)...
How can we stop the government from gaining more control? We can vote for people who want lower taxes and less inflation. Most of all, don’t believe those government liars!
